Cafe Bancroft

Highly recommend going to Cafe Bancroft. As a family with many allergies this has been a fantastic cafe that caters for all. Delicious, fresh, locally sourced, health conscious food and beverages. Highly recommend the collagen coffee and a gluten free brownie! The service and atmosphere is excellent.

My reason for 5 stars is the good energy here. I went there with Mum today for the 1st time, this is a more recently established small cafe compared to the other 2 on the corner. The owner Chris was very welcoming and friendly. The best thing here was an atmosphere that felt like a home and close knit group, the people attending the cafe seemed to know each other by name, it felt cosy and I loved that. Chris puts an effort to get his business to take off and I found that moving. I gave him some constructive feedback on his business and he took it very well. We need to support a small business like this one as it will elevate the standards of nearby businesses and bring locals and visitors closer. Keep up the good work. Cheers PS: Chris' Grandma's banana Jam was a lovely addition to the Cheese cake. Yum!

The fresh baked, hash brown crusted quiche and was delicious. The unique, health focused coffee blends were fabulous and we took away a phenomenal slice of NY baked cheesecake, made by a lady who happened to be seated next to us in the cafe. Lots of GF menu items (YAY!). This is a beautiful, community focused business, run by an owner who is knowledgeable in naturopathic & nutritional health and an absolute delight to speak to. Highly recommend & looking forward to returning!

First visit today. What an enjoyable experience! Chris is a great person who relates well and constructively with his clients. He offered excellent advice regarding the food in the menu and the variety of unique coffees he serves. We had a light lunch and really enjoyed the homely atmosphere. Parking was not a problem and went for a short walk to the bay water from there. As the TERMINATOR said “I’ll be back!”

Tucked away from the main streets, this hidden gem of a cafe is yet to be discovered by many, but it's truly exceptional. When I visited, the owner took the time to carefully explain the coffee and cakes, sharing insights about the high-quality milk used in their coffee. I had the cheesecake and a latte, and I must say, that latte was the best I've tasted all year. It had a richness yet was so smooth. Considering the customer service, the spacious seating, and the fact that every table had fresh drinking water, this place easily makes it into my top five cafes in Brisbane.

Discovered this little gem of a place yesterday! The owner himself sets this cafe apart, no big cooked menu but a few lovely cakes and savouries, quality coffee and the nicest person running the place. I honestly started to think that the world has lost its small kindnesses. A smile, an extra bit of genuine effort to connect with people shouldn't be such a shock, is my faith in humanity restored? Will be back for coffee and the lovely service

Hidden gem in Deception Bay. Worth a visit for the friendly service, great coffee and good food. I enjoyed a speciality coffee and a delicious banana bread. My grandson loved the baby chino. Loved the space for the locals to share their wares and talents.
